The story of Edgardo Madrid & Associates began with a simple yet powerful dream—a father and son, both driven by a shared passion for construction and engineering, decided to turn their vision into reality. With little more than determination, hard work, and one piece of equipment, they set out to establish a company that could not only support their family but also make a meaningful impact on the community.
In the early days, the company operated out of a small office with just a handful of employees. Edgardo Madrid’s years of experience in the construction industry, combined with the Edgardo J. Madrid’s innovative ideas and eagerness to embrace new technology, created a unique synergy that fueled the company’s growth.
Edgardo Madrid & Associates expands to provide infrastructure improvements to the Permian Basin Area. Covering a 100-mile radius from Midland/ Odessa.
Despite the challenges many businesses faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, our company remained unaffected. Thanks to our solid infrastructure, well-established safety protocols, and dedicated workforce, we were able to maintain smooth operations without disruptions. Our team continued to deliver reliable services, ensuring that our clients and projects moved forward without any delays or setbacks.
In 2022 we decided to introduce the Madrid Initiative which a percentage of company profits was dedicated to various philanthropic efforts, including local sponsorships, charitable donations, and volunteer initiatives, all aimed at making a positive and lasting impact in the Permian Basin. Alongside our community involvement, we’ve prioritized the well-being of our employees by offering a competitive benefits package that includes comprehensive healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development. Edgardo Madrid
President | Owner
Edgardo Madrid started his career by graduating with two Bachelor’s Degrees in Civil Engineering and Surveying from the University of Chihuahua, MX, in 1991. In 2000 he moved his family to Pecos, TX. He was given a senior management position at a civil engineering firm. He was responsible for developing plans, specifications, estimates on proposed projects, and report writing for all projects. In 2004 he was offered the Director of Public works position for the City of Pecos, which included the water, sewer, sanitation, landfill, and street departments. Over the nine years with the City of Pecos, Edgardo implemented and promoted a Water Conservation Program and Drought Contingency Plan that is still in effect to this day.
He also obtained funding for constructing a new wastewater treatment plant, promoted the development of a new landfill, and obtained millions of dollars in grant funding to improve the airport, utilities, and streets of the City of Pecos. In 2015 Edgardo Madrid and his son Edgardo J. Madrid started Edgardo Madrid & Associates. Edgardo is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations, pursuing new contracts, supervising quality control for clients, preparing construction schedules, and promoting growth and development strategies.

Edgardo J Madrid graduated from UTPB with a degree in Business Management. In 2015 Edgardo J Madrid and his father started Edgardo Madrid & Associates. Edgardo J Madrid began as a laborer learning the field skills necessary to build water and wastewater projects. These skills proved valuable in being able to lead projects and be a great estimator for infrastructure improvements. Edgardo J Madrid oversees all company operations, including estimating and bidding, subcontractor management, company financials, budgeting, business development, branding and marketing, fleet management, personnel management, and company growth development.
